Harvest progress continues to be delayed as heavy rainfall moves through Ohio.
According to the latest USDA Crop and Weather report, 79 percent of the corn crop and 95 percent of soybeans have been harvested. Corn harvest is about 11 days behind the five-year average.
Ninety-four percent of winter wheat is emerged and 86 percent of the crop is rated good to excellent.
Topsoil moisture is 99 percent and subsoil moisture is 97 percent adequate to surplus.
