The new CEO of the Soybean Checkoff wants farmers to grow the best beans possible, and plenty of them. The person taking the lead executive position at the United Soybean Board (USB) is only a few days on the job and already thinking about production.
“I want to talk to you about yield and about quality,” said Polly Ruhland, in an interview with Brownfield Ag News, days after taking her new position.
Ruhland succeeds the retiring John Becherer as CEO of the USB.
