Light cash cattle trade has developed in parts of the South and in Colorado at $119. That’s steady with yesterday’s decline but $3 to $4 lower than last week’s weighted average. Asking prices are around $121 to $124 in the South and Northern dressed asking prices are yet to be fully established. Some dressed bids in Nebraska have been reported between $185 to $190.
The Fed Cattle Exchange had a strong showing today with 969 head offered and 617 head sold.
