The USDA crop progress report says the overall pace–56 percent complete as of Sunday—is still nearly two weeks behind normal.
Corn moisture levels remain high, averaging 21 percent.
Soybean harvest is nearing the finish line with more than 90 percent of the crop out.
Tillage and manure application continues where ground is still soft.
