Leaders from the 11 remaining countries in the Trans-Pacific Partnership are inching closer to an agreement. According to Politico, the countries agreed on a plan to move forward without the US in a meeting in Vietnam last week.
President Donald Trump withdrew from the trade negotiations in January. The administration had announced it intended to pursue bilateral trade agreements when it withdrew from TPP, and although the White House says progress has been made with bilateral trade talks with Japan, no deals have been made.
