A mostly dry week in South Dakota resulted in many producers completing corn, sunflower and sorghum harvest. The USDA’s National Ag Statistics Service says corn harvest is slightly behind at 82 percent finished. Winter wheat is only 14 percent good to excellent.
Sorghum harvest is 83 percent finished and sunflowers 81 percent finished. Both are slightly behind.
South Dakota pastures are only 21 percent good to excellent.
