A leader with Harvesters’ Community Food Network says she disagrees with the sentiment that 80 percent of the Farm Bill has nothing to do with farming.
Karen Siebert is the advocacy and public policy advisor for the regional food bank.
“It was really brought home to me just a few weeks ago when I was at a Farm Bill summit in Missouri and a legislator said 80 percent of the Farm Bill has nothing to do with farming,” she says.
