Harvest continues to drag on this week as the rain continues in Ohio. According to the latest USDA Crop and Weather report, 71 percent of the corn crop has been harvested and soybean harvest is 93 percent complete.
Ninety percent of winter wheat is emerged and 88 percent of the crop is rated good to excellent. However, winter wheat that was planted recently has reportedly been washed away in many areas.
Topsoil moisture is 98 percent and subsoil moisture is 95 percent adequate to surplus.
