The USDA says corn, soybean, and wheat export sales for the week ending November 2nd were either above most pre-report estimates or at the high end of analysts’ expectations, but physical shipments remain slower than what’s needed to meet USDA projections for the 2017/18 marketing year.
Wheat sales were a new marketing year high at 781,700 tons (28.7 million bushels), up sharply from both the week ending October 26th and the four week average.
