Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue says despite China’s recent purchase of U.S. soybeans, several serious ag trade irritants remain.
Talking to reporters earlier this week, Perdue pointed to tariffs on American DDG’s as an example of what he calls a Chinese wall that needs to be taken down.
“We call upon the Chinese government to allow (DDG’s) into their country. We think poultry should be readmitted into China. We’ve given them all the evidence, (and) they’ve audited all of our processes.
