Soybeans were modestly higher on commercial and technical buying. The trade was watching the tail end of harvest and getting ready for Thursday’s USDA numbers, due out at Noon Eastern/11 Central. USDA could lower production, yield, and ending stocks projections, with the potential for more changes between now and the “final” numbers in January. Weekly export sales are also out Thursday at 8:30 Eastern/7:30 Central and are expected to reflect the strong demand despite increased competition from South America.
