Minnesota farmer explains ag to high school foods class

Farmers continue making time for consumer engagement.
Lori Feltis grows corn, soybeans, oats, alfalfa, and raises livestock in southeast Minnesota.
She recently visited a high school cooking class in Stewartville, a community she considers to be rural.
“But a lot of the people (in the community) have not been raised on a farm, so I feel it’s my job to teach them about what farmers do and where their food comes from.
