FFA members from across the country say younger members should use their successes and failures as learning tools for the future.
Leah Hefty, a member of the Dekalb FFA chapter in Indiana, says students should be encouraged, and even excited to fail, when trying new student agricultural experience projects.
“Research is a really big thing where it’s very variable,” she says. “You can either get perfect results or get something you didn’t expect at all and in that case you just got to keep trying.”
