The Wisconsin bill allowing commercial hemp production on the fast track.
The State Senate Ag Committee passed the bill last week, and for a short time Friday, it was referred to the Joint Committee on Finance, but that committee sent it straight to the full Senate, which unanimously passed it on a voice vote Tuesday.
The Assembly Ag Committee has a hearing on the bill Wednesday morning at 9:30 in the Capitol, and could schedule a vote on the floor as early as Thursday.
