Last week’s dry weather allowed Nebraska farmers to complete most of the soybean harvest and make good progress on corn.
As of Sunday, 95 percent of soybeans and 68 percent of the state’s corn were harvested. Corn is still 13 points behind the five-year average of 81 percent.
Winter wheat condition rated 63 percent good to excellent and 27 percent fair.
