Syngenta says it’s entered an agreement with China’s COFCO International to acquire its Nideras seed company. That company specializes in corn, soybeans, wheat, sunflowers and sorghum in Argentina and Brazil and surrounding countries. The merger is subject to regulatory approvals. The acquisition of Syngenta by ChemChina is still pending.
