The issue of dicamba damage to neighboring fields has been one of the biggest agricultural stories of 2017. A lot of agencies and organizations, including the federal EPA, state agencies, ag companies, universities and Extension, and ag groups, are going to be working hard this winter to make sure it doesn’t happen at that level again in 2018.
KJ Johnson, director of government and industry relations with the Illinois Fertilizer & Chemical Association, says their main message to applicators will be, “You need to follow the label to a T.”
