Soybeans were higher on commercial and technical buying. Demand continues to be strong and planting conditions in South America are mixed, generally better in Argentina than in Brazil. Most forecasts do have rain in dry parts of central Brazil, but recent coverage has been lighter than expected. Those delays in Brazil have pushed their port prices well above the price of U.S. beans at the Gulf. Parts of the Midwest may be able to finish harvest in the next few days.
