A northeast Indiana farmer says the biggest factor impacting his soybean yields this year has been the size of his soybeans.
Roger Hadley farms corn and soybeans outside of Ft. Wayne.
“They were way smaller than they have been for several years due to the lack of rain in that August and early September time period,” he says.
He tells Brownfield he originally thought they were going to have yields that were 15-20 percent below normal, but that hasn’t been the case.
