On the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, The Class III milk futures closed down except for November, which was up $.04 at $16.58. December was down $.02 at $15.98. January was down $.05 to $15.65. February fell $.08 to $15.55.
Butter continued its downward slide, closing down $.02 at $2.25. Six carloads were sold, with one car selling at $2.26 and another at $2.2625.
Barrels closed up $.0225 on Tuesday’s trade at $1.7325.
