The USDA reports corn, soybean, and wheat export inspections as of the week ending October 26th continue to trail the department’s expectations for the 2017/18 marketing year.
Wheat came out at 315,317 tons, up 144,319 from the week ending October 19th, but down 20,208 from the week ending October 27th, 2016. For the 2017/18 marketing year to date, wheat inspections are 11,114,268 tons, compared to 11,643,486 in 2016/17.
Corn was reported at 517,679 tons, 118,350 lower than the previous week and 363,647 less than this time last year.
