The corn harvest in Missouri is still behind the average, according to the Missouri office of the USDA’s NASS. As of Sunday, 80-percent of Missouri corn had been harvested for grain. Missouri’s soybean harvest jumped 18-percentage points to 63 percent complete…very close to the five-year average.
The state’s cotton harvest is way ahead of the average at 81% complete. Rice and sorghum harvests are on track.
Fifty-five percent of winter wheat is planted in Missouri, a bit behind average but emergence, at 35%, is on target.
