EQIP sign-up deadline nears for Missouri

The deadline to sign up for the USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) in Missouri is November 17th. Missouri Assistant State Conservationist Curt McDaniel with the NRCS says EQIP helps promote farm production and environmental quality.
“Maybe some lightbulbs go off and say ‘maybe I need to think about some alternatives to doing things that would both increase profitability, but also maintain the stewardship on the farm,’” said McDaniel, during an interview with Brownfield Ag News.
