Direct cash cattle trade is quiet this morning with both bids and asking prices poorly defined. Some showlists in the South have been priced around $115 to $116. Today’s Fed Cattle Exchange looks to be a non-starter so don’t look for serious buying efforts to surface until Thursday or even Friday.
It was another dismal day for the Fed Cattle Exchange. The total offering was 897 head with zero head sold. No buyers were willing to bid high enough to attract any selling interests.
