Soybeans were modestly lower on profit taking and technical selling. Harvest pulled close to average over the past week and parts of the region are expected to make good progress this week ahead of colder weather. Conditions are expected to be generally more favorable in central and western parts of the Midwest than in eastern areas. Some forecasts have rain in dry parts of Brazil next week, speeding up planting. Soybean meal and oil followed beans lower.
