The USDA reports corn and soybean export inspections as of the week ending October 19th improved, but remain behind the pace of the previous marketing year.
Wheat came out at 169,750 tons, down 154,775 from the week ending October 12th and 96,487 lower than the week ending October 20th, 2016. For the 2017/18 marketing year to date, wheat inspections are 10,796,552 tons, compared to 11,307,961 in 2016/17.
Corn was reported at 614,075, up 283,619 from the previous week and 62,768 higher than this time last year.
