At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, cattle futures had a fairly neutral day considering Friday’s bearish Cattle on Feed report. Feeder cattle were also pressured by today’s firm corn trade and weaker wholesale values. October live cattle closed $.15 lower at $111.52 at December live cattle closed $.15 higher at $116.75. October feeder cattle were unchanged at $153.62 and November feeder cattle closed $.35 lower at $152.72.
Direct cash cattle trade is limited to the distribution of new showlists.
