The U.S. corn and soybean harvests are still both slower than average, but beans pulled close to normal last week. Producers in many areas were able to make good progress on beans ahead of widespread rainfall last weekend into the early part of this week.
As of Sunday, 70% of soybeans are harvested, compared to the five year average of 73%. 97% of the crop is dropping leaves, matching the usual pace.
