Ibach and Northey receive committee approval

The Senate Ag Committee has approved the nominations of Greg Ibach and Bill Northey to top positions in the USDA—Ibach as Under Secretary for Marketing and Regulatory Programs and Northey as Under Secretary for Farm and Foreign Agricultural Services.
The vote was unanimous.
The chairman and ranking member of the committee, Pat Roberts and Debbie Stabenow, say they expect a quick confirmation of the two nominees in the full Senate.
Ibach is Nebraska’s ag director.
