The Minnesota Beef Expo begins Thursday and the coordinator says the show has enhanced youth beef education efforts throughout the state and region.
Kent Thiesse says the Expo provides a great opportunity for young people starting in the beef program.
“They can buy a heifer or a club calf at the sale Saturday and turn around and show it Sunday. You’ve got a lot of experts around to give them advice.
