Wet fields over the past week continued to slow Nebraska’s harvest progress.
As of Sunday, corn harvest stood at 17 percent complete, well behind the five-year average of 39. Thirty-three percent of soybeans were harvested, compared to the normal pace of 67 percent for mid-October.
Winter wheat emergence was at 66 percent, slightly behind average.
