The USDA reports the pace of corn, soybean, and wheat export inspections as of the week ending October 12th are all behind what’s needed to meet projections for the 2017/18 marketing year.
Wheat came out at 322,860 tons, down 28,825 from the week ending October 5th and 141,846 lower than the week ending October 13th, 2016. For the 2017/18 marketing year to date, wheat inspections are 10,623,888 tons, compared to 11,041,724 in 2016/17.
