Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue has added two new members to his executive team at the USDA. Perdue swore in Steve Censky as deputy agriculture secretary and Ted McKinney as the USDA’s first undersecretary for trade Tuesday.
Censky, who was the longtime CEO of the American Soybean Association, said it was “a coming home” for him. He was administrator of the USDA’s foreign agriculture service in the early 1990s.
McKinney, who served as Indiana agriculture director, says he wants to help American farmers.
