Class III milk futures at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange were down modestly after the USDA increased its 2017 and 2018 U.S. production outlooks slightly. October was $.02 lower at $16.69, November was down $.06 at $16.11, December was $.05 lower at $15.75, and January was down $.06 at $15.45.
Cash cheese blocks were $.0325 lower at $1.725. One load was sold at $1.725. Barrels were down $.03 at $1.685. 14 loads were sold, ranging from $1.685 to $1.715.
