A southern Indiana farmer says an increased application of fungicide helped his crops this year.
Ben Kron says he’s seeing some green stems in soybeans, which could be related to fungicide, but overall crop health has been good.
“There was a lot more fungicide sprayed this year because we had southern rust really bad last year so that really helped our overall crop health,” he says.
He tells Brownfield he is facing harvest delays because they are finally getting the rain they haven’t had all summer.
