Direct cash cattle trade is starting off slow on this Friday. There are just a few scattered bids in part of the North. Asking prices are around $110.00 to $112.00 in the South and $175.00 plus in the North. Packer inquiry should begin to improve over the course of the day. Private sources have reported bids at $168 to $170 dressed.
Boxed beef cutout is mixed at the midday on light to moderate box movement.
