A wet weather pattern is causing a myriad of concerns for Minnesota farmers anxious to continue harvesting crops.
University of Minnesota Extension agronomist Jeff Coulter says very little corn for grain has been harvested.
“So far it appears like there’s not many stalk quality issues at this point, but we’ll see as harvest proceeds.”
Recent rains have saturated soils, forcing many farmers to the sidelines for what could be an extended period.
