Soybeans were higher on short covering and technical buying. Forecasts have harvest delaying rain in parts of the Midwest and Plains over the next few days. Weekly export numbers were solid, staying ahead of last marketing year’s pace. The trade will be watching the yield estimate and demand expectations closely next week. Contracts closed below the session highs, unable to break resistance. Soybean meal was higher and bean oil was lower, adjusting product spreads.
