Soybeans were modestly lower on commercial and technical selling, after an up and down session. Harvest is slower than average and some rain delays are expected over the next few days in parts of the Midwest and Plains. Anecdotal yields have generally been good. The trade expects a big production number and large new crop ending stocks in next week’s USDA reports. FC Stone’s new number is 4.424 billion bushels with an average yield of 49.9 bushels per acre.
