By voice vote late Monday, the Senate Agriculture Committee approved the nominations of Steve Censky and Ted McKinney to be deputy ag secretary and undersecretary for trade and foreign agricultural affairs, respectively.
The nominations now go to the full Senate for approval. Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman Pat Roberts said he would ask Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to take up the nominations quickly.
