Wisconsin’s Implements of Husbandry laws are now permanent.
State Senator Jerry Petrowski chairs the Senate Transportation Committee and worked with agriculture and local government officials to create the machinery on road guidelines. “In this budget, we got rid of the sunset. It would have come to an end at the end of five years, and so now with the sunset being gone, it will continue to be the law of the land.”
Petrowski tells Brownfield if the law were allowed to sunset, managing modern large machinery on roads would be back to square one.
