Direct cash cattle trade is mostly quiet this morning with just a few scattered bids. A few asking prices have been noted around $110 to $111 in the South and $172 to $174 in the North and bids have been reported at $104 live.
The Fed Cattle Exchange was a bust with a total offering of 1,324 head and zero head sold. Bids of $106.25 to $107.50 were offered, but passed. Last week’s sale had 636 head sold on a live basis at $106.67.
