At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, cattle futures bounced back after trading lower the past few sessions. Contracts have been oversold and some support could be coming from the potential for another round of positive cash trade this week. October live cattle closed $.30 higher at $108.57 and December live cattle closed $1.42 higher at $114.90. September feeder cattle closed $1.82 higher at $152.40 and October feeder cattle closed $2.05 higher at $152.70.
Direct cash cattle trade remained untested with both bids and asking prices difficult to define.
