Soybeans were modestly higher on short covering and technical buying, rallying late in low volume. Late development weather and harvest conditions generally look good with good yields being reported in many areas. The trade expects a large, if not record, U.S. crop this year. China bought another 132,000 tons of new crop U.S. beans and solid demand may help keep a floor under beans. Weekly export sales are out Thursday morning at 8:30 Eastern/7:30 Central.
