Dairy producers are donating to the victims of Hurricane Harvey. The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board coordinated with farmers and cheesemakers in the Badger state to send more than 17-thousand pounds of cheese to the Houston area.
WMMB employees packed a truck with smoked string cheese, cheese curds, muenster, parmesan, and classic cheddar plus 300 pounds of butter. The products will arrive at a Houston food bank next week.
