Vietnam has lifted its suspension of U.S. DDGs which it put in place late last year because of the presence of a quarantined pest. Lyndsey Erb, industry relations director of the US Grains Council, says it’s good news that Vietnam import permits will be issued once again, “Vietnam was our third largest market for U.S. DDGS exports in the ‘15/’16 marketing year. It was almost ONE-Million tons that year.”
In addition, Vietnam will allow for new fumigation protocols in U.S.
