Direct cash cattle business is developing at $105 on the live basis in Kansas, Nebraska, and Texas. That’s down $2 on the week. Light to moderate trade was reported Wednesday in the north, mostly at $165 to $166 dressed, $3 to $4 lower than last week’s weighted average for Nebraska. Asking prices are pretty poorly defined, but generally around $107+ live and $170+ dressed. Bids are reported at $104 Live and $164 to $166 dressed.
