Direct cash cattle trade is quiet this morning. The action is limited to the distribution of new showlists. The only business last week took place on Wednesday and Thursday with just a handful of trade on Friday. Full range for dressed deals were $165 to $173 – with most of the business done at $172 a more than $3 decline from the previous week’s weighted average in Nebraska. Live deals ranged from $106 to $107 with most of the business done around $107, a decline of $3 from the previous week.
