Michigan crop development continues running behind normal.
In its latest crop progress report, the USDA says farmers in the Upper Peninsula are especially worried as cool conditions persisted last week.
Producers in other parts of the state are also hoping for warmer weather as both corn and soybean maturity trails the five-year average.
White mold was reported in a few soybean fields.
