Policy recommendations that will guide Indiana Farm Bureau in 2018 have been set.
Indiana Farm Bureau president Randy Kron says the Farm Bill topped the discussion, and federal crop insurance will be a top priority for next year.
He says the recommendation, if approved by American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF), would insure that crop insurance is funded if there are budget cuts.
Kron tells Brownfield Indiana Farm Bureau is also concerned about the farm bill’s commodity, conservation, and trade titles.
